Every Capitol Quill Press project is priced around your specific scope — word count, services needed, and timeline. We send a transparent, line-item estimate before you commit, so you know exactly what you're paying for. No hidden fees, no creeping invoices, no surprise change orders.
Who sets the retail price of my book?
You do. The retail price is 100% yours to set — high, low, or anywhere in between. We'll share market data and a pricing recommendation for your genre as part of our publishing service, but the final number is always yours.
How long will it take to publish my book?
Most projects publish in 4 to 8 weeks once we kick off. The single biggest variable is your turnaround on reviews — the faster you share feedback and approvals, the faster we ship. We'll never miss a deadline because of our team.
Do I keep my copyright?
Yes — 100%. You own your manuscript, your cover, and every right associated with the book. Your sales and distribution accounts (Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, etc.) are set up in your own name. That's the line that separates us from traditional publishers: we're a service, not an owner of your work.
How much does audiobook narration cost?
